Patreon is a crowdsourcing platform that links patrons to creators in the arts, sciences and education. Patreon provides a simple way to support field research and expeditions in connection with the survival of consciousness. Support will help underwrite expenses connected with expeditions and experimentation at historic locations, and with the collection, processing and analysis of findings as well as with the acquisition of hardware software or services. Paranormal Underground ® is a online magazine dedicated to reporting all aspects of paranormal phenomena. Writers and editors for the magazine have diverse backgrounds and reflect a wide range of viewpoints to include believers, skeptics, and skeptical believers. “In the Dark” is the radio show hosted by the magazine. The format consists of two hours of talk with top experts and personalities in the field and is streamed over Mixlr. A live chat forum will also be available. The show will interview Maryland Paranormal Research ® on Apr 7, 2016 from 9-11 p.m. Eastern.

IONS™ conducts, sponsors, and collaborates on leading-edge research into the potentials and powers of consciousness, exploring phenomena that do not necessarily fit conventional scientific models while maintaining a commitment to scientific rigor. “Noetic” comes from the Greek word nous, which means “intuitive mind” or “inner knowing.” Baltimore Friends of IONS hosts engaging discussions gatherings and a book club oriented towards exploring the potential of human consciousness and the intersection of science and spirit. The presentation “Consciousness, Capacities, and Communication” is scheduled for Mar 8 2016 at 7:00 pm at Center for Spiritual Living Central MD, 362 Main St., Reisterstown, MD 21136.

Maryland Paranormal Research ® presented its mission brief “People, Process and Technology” before local area paranormal enthusiasts at the Harry L Cooper VFW Post 160 in Glen Burnie. The presentation was very well received.

 
 

Hallowread

 

Oct 24-26, 2014: HallowRead Conference/Ghost Expedition Ellicott City MD

 

Maryland Paranormal Research ® will host a paranormal investigation demonstration at the Mount Ida Home for the Hallowread 2014 conference in Historic Ellicott City Maryland. Hallowread is a writers conference for the steampunk, science fiction and paranormal romance genres. Proceeds from the three-day conference are donated to charity. Conference presentations will be hosted at the Roger Carter Center.

 

Mount Ida was constructed in 1828 for William Ellicott, son of Jonathan and Sara Ellicott, and grandson of Andrew Ellicott, one of the founders of Ellicott Mills (now Ellicott City). The home is believed to be haunted by the “benevolent” spirit of Miss Ida Tyson.
