Maryland Paranormal Research ® presented a portion of the presentation “Ghosts, Poltergeists and Hauntings” and a technical demonstration of instrumental transcommunication at the Kentlands Mansion and Arts Barn. The presentations were part of the Ghosts of Gaithersburg event. The demo utilized the theater PA system for amplified effect. Maryland Paranormal Research ® participated again in the 3rd National Ghost Hunting Day, a worldwide event sponsored by Haunted Journeys. Sep 30, 2017: National Ghost Hunting Day/Dundalk MD
Maryland Paranormal Research ® participated in National Ghost Hunting Day (NGHD), a worldwide investigation event sponsored by Haunted Journeys magazine. The event attempted to build a global “consciousness bridge” an experiment lasting two hours using a global network of random event generators belonging the Global Consciousness Project. The Dundalk and Patapsco Neck Historical Society hosted the ghost expedition giving connectivity to the event.

IONS™ conducts, sponsors, and collaborates on leading-edge research into the potentials and powers of consciousness, exploring phenomena that do not necessarily fit conventional scientific models while maintaining a commitment to scientific rigor. “Noetic” comes from the Greek word nous, which means “intuitive mind” or “inner knowing.” Baltimore Friends of IONS hosts engaging discussions gatherings and a book club oriented towards exploring the potential of human consciousness and the intersection of science and spirit. Oct 24-26, 2014: HallowRead Conference/Ghost Expedition Ellicott City MD
Maryland Paranormal Research ® will host a paranormal investigation demonstration at the Mount Ida Home for the Hallowread 2014 conference in Historic Ellicott City Maryland. Hallowread is a writers conference for the steampunk, science fiction and paranormal romance genres. Proceeds from the three-day conference are donated to charity. Conference presentations will be hosted at the Roger Carter Center.
Mount Ida was constructed in 1828 for William Ellicott, son of Jonathan and Sara Ellicott, and grandson of Andrew Ellicott, one of the founders of Ellicott Mills (now Ellicott City). The home is believed to be haunted by the “benevolent” spirit of Miss Ida Tyson.
